Homeless Hounds

350,000 dogs are destroyed in pounds and shelters each year in Australia. Many of these animals were good pets and if rescued will make great pets. Homeless Hounds rescues and rehabilitates death row dogs and cats from various pound and shelters across Australia.

There are many ways you can help reduce this number.  We have a great network of foster carers.  This wonderful group donate their time and open their homes to many animals who otherwise would be destroyed without whom we would not be able to to save.  More volunteers are always needed as foster carers, and in other capacities.  Ask Us!
